I could listen to this album over for severel reasons. I'll only cover a few for the sake of time.
1. The songs all have wonderful points lyrically from Jesus Freak to What if I Stumble to What Have We Become.
2. The music keeps you interested. Many good songs lyrically can be ruined by the music and nothing like that happens to any of these songs. Or any dc Talk songs at all for that matter.
3. The leads are distributed nicely and though they don't have as tight of harmony as they do in their later album Supernatural, the harmony of these three men is displayed nicely.
In conclusion this is a wonderful cd in every aspect. The singing, the music, and the lyrics. Even if you aren't a big dc Talk fan this cd is worth every penny. I suggest three songs in particular- Like It, Love It, Need It, So Help Me God, and my personal favorite of all time What If I Stumble.

I love this album because it has great diversity. Jesus Freak, So Help Me God, Like it, Love it, Need it, and Day by Day provide the rock. What if I Stumble is a slow song with great vocals that talks about how life is being a famous, rockstar and being a christian. What Have We Become is a great song that taiks about how oue society has fallen away from God. In the Light talks about how they want to ge more like God. Colored People talks about to look through their skin into their heart. Mind's Eye talks about how we might not see God physically we can see Him mentally. Between You and Me talks about how you need to confees our sins to God. If you are looking for a great contemporary christian album, you have found it

As far as I am concerned, this is the best record ever made. Period.
