Ferguson Says. . .

Kevin Max - The guy is so underrated it is not even real! He should be on SNL and Vh1 and everything else, it amazes me the disparity between this man's talent and his world-stage popularity. Keep your eye on him, a legend-in-the-making. This is my least fav album, however, so here's my honest o:

1. Confessional Booth - Edgy rawk song, ok for a start.
2. The Imposter - It feels silly and doesn't have a hook.
3. Sanctuary - Great radio-friendly power/upbeat tune, I like it
4. Your Beautiful Mind - Weak sentimental ballad, lyrics & tune
5. Jumpstart Your Electric Heart! - Techno rock, mediocre song.
6. Platform - Might work in an acoustic set, but bores me.
7. The Royal Path of Life - Shows off soul vocals, weak melody.
8. The Imposter's Song - This is a fun and smart one, a favorite
9. Stay - Morrissey influence too overt (ie, "everythinggg")
10. I Need You, The End - Ok. Mediocre melody.
11. When He Returns - NOT the new Hallelujah! Tune is mediocre.
12. Fade To Red - One of THE best Kmax songs to date lyrically.

Check out "Between the Fence and the Universe", or "Stereotype B"...much better projects, both musically and lyrically. Also, see Kevin in concert you will be amazed he sings just as well and better live.
